For the past 14 years Sarah Elise Abramson has devoted much of her life to art and in particular, photography.  Abramson is now 25 years old and lives in San Pedro, CA.  A few years ago she became obsessed with the dynamic dual between vulnerability and strength.  Contradicting thoughts and imagery has always been something she found herself drawn to.  She started shooting close friends she respected and admired at their most vulnerable, in the nude. Abramson shoots mainly with a Polaroid SX-70 camera. The intimacy and magic of the small square pictures that develop right before your eyes only enhances the raw beauty of these images.
She is currently apprenticing as a fine art print maker and working on a coffee table book of all nude polaroids called Boobs & Bones. Check out her work at www.sarahelisephotography.tumblr.com.

"In our modern digital age, the polaroid is already becoming a relic of the past...Like a painting, a polaroid becomes an irreplaceable treasure and object of desire, as only one person may own the original."
